Lawson Cross won an award at RCAW for best podium talk in Biomedical Sciences. His work focuses on the role zebrafish housing plays on locomotor recovery and anxiety after a spinal cord injury!
 
Lawson also won the Synapse Award for Most Outstanding Neuroscience Student.
This is awarded to a Neuroscience major whose body of scholarly work, leadership, and contributions to the community, both inside and outside of ECU, were strongly exhibited during their tenure as a Neuroscience major.
